Nina Simone died at 70, today, in France. She had moved out of the U.S. in 
the 70's because of worsening racism. Her obituaries are all around today 
and they mention a bunch of her famous songs. But they all leave out my 
favorite, her rendition of "Pirate Jenny' from three-penny opera. It's 
magnificent. I get goose bumps even from the CD version.
