The New Yorker recently did a profile of the woman behind PETA and in the article it states that there are many many small donations.....I am in the middle of the artice now, but I do not have it with me

And if they want to offer me $15,000 to change my cliche, I'll take it.

Real question: Does anybody know where they get their money? I think I remember they got a good chunk of change some years back from the estate of one of the Dukes (the North Carolina power magnate Dukes). Are they riding high on eccentric dead rich people bucks, or is this my prejudices at work?
