I should check my facts on what follows, but I'll risk that my memory is roughly accurate and hope someone can fill in the precise details.

On the logic of "these fine people did X, so we should approve of their doing Y."

Back about 100 years ago (1904?) a young man risked life and liberty in opposing an anti-jewish pogrom in Odessa.

If we follow the logic Joanna describes the Znet folks as following, we should therefore give our complete approval to that same man's slaughtering a few million people several decades later.

Once a hero, always a hero, in every day and every way!
