My roommate just told me that the Texas group she talked to were very hostile. One of them had the most offensive t-shirt on that I've ever heard of.

The roommate read some of her notes to me last night. She had talked extensively to a pair of sisters, who expressed alot of concern about societal problems, including materialism. The sisters complained about the materialism of American society, but they also bragged about an older brother who was materially successful.

Oh, the Louisiana crew that she interviewed was part of "Cheerleaders for God." Evidently there are lots of contests at this convention for the teens and cheerleading for the diety is one of them.

I don't get the impression that these kids were "drawn to Christianity" as a choice. It seems very clear that evangelical Christians have gotten more adept at brainwashing their kids from cradle to adulthood.
