Yeah, it does. "Ninotchka" was not funny--at all. For an actually terrific remake, check out "Silk Stockings" with Fred Astaire and gorgeous, gorgeous Cyd Charisse. (As Fed said about her years later: "Boy, that Cyd. When you danced with her, you stayed danced." This movie IS funny and it features Peter Lorre as a soviet bureaucrat in exile. Great dancing! Cyd Charisse was a ballerina who made a very successful transition to jazz dance.
