Yeah, but I'd say your average Nation writer is more humorless than your
average feminist. Shit, they have to rely on a feminist, Katha Pollitt, to liven
it up. And where would the Progressive be without Barbara Ehrenreich and
Molly Ivins? They make it worth enduring the awful graphics. Z benefits from
Lydia Sargent, even. Where would the left be without these feminists goosing it
up? Dull and duller.
