Joanna: Yeah, the rub here is that "sex" might mean different things to men and women. To many, many, many men it means something like "twiddle with the knobs (nipples, clitoris), masturbate in the vagina, then go to peaceful sleep." Fine and good, but not what I'd call sex. I think one would find that a lot more women would want sex if it played out differently than the scenario above. At the same time, I grant that women have to come out of their generally passive sexual personnas. ^^^^^^ CB: To jump back to your point that lots of men are the ones withholding sex, I can see why the men would be withholding sex if all they do when they have it is what you describe above. (smile). I don't like to challenge the claim by women that they don't like sex with men as much as men because men aren't good at it, but I have heard tell that actually a lot of women do like sex a lot, with men even.. Maybe some men are doing more than wham bam ?

Mostly I think that women who are either half or fully supporting a family (and doing all the scut work) are just not going to put up with the kind of shit my mother put up with. Why should they? So, expectations for how they want to be treated have shot way up...and now it's time for men to get with the program if they really want to be with women. If not, I think they should just masturbate. That way they don't have to be inconvenienced by making small talk or taking showers and they can have all the "sex" they want. ^^^^^ CB: I hear your complaints. I'm all for men doing more scut work and taking more showers, baths even. Me in the first place. On the talk, why settle for small ? How about heavy talk and heavy sex ?

I do like some men. I really do.
