Back in me NY days, I knew a few self-professed Marxist/Feminists who, once
they gave birth, had no problem, financially or morally, hiring a Haitian
nanny to tend to the tots. And when I lived in Park Slope, Brooklyn, the
playgrounds in Prospect Park were filled with the kids of white pwoggies and
their Haitian and Jamaican nannies. Of course, it helps to actually live in
the real world to see things like this.
