Back in me NY days, I knew a few self-professed Marxist/Feminists who, once they gave birth, had no problem, financially or morally, hiring a Haitian nanny to tend to the tots. And when I lived in Park Slope, Brooklyn, the playgrounds in Prospect Park were filled with the kids of white pwoggies and their Haitian and Jamaican nannies. Of course, it helps to actually live in the real world to see things like this.

DP ^^^^^^ CB ( writing from the real world): I don't think Yoshie is doubting that a few self-professed Marxist/Feminists or white pwoggies have Black nannies form other countries.. I think she's asking for evidence to support the claim that they wouldn't have had nannies if they hadn't been feminists. Ehrenrich seems to claim that becoming feminists or the existence of the feminist movement caused some women to hire Third World nannies who wouldn't have done so had they not been feminists or if there hadn't been a feminist movement.
