Hungry?  Cook your own food.  If you want to help struggling waitresses, go
to a restaurant and leave a tip for services not rendered.

Of course, Brad's point still stands: maids are better off with (crappy)
jobs than no jobs at all, so you're not exactly doing them a tremendous
favor by refusing to hire them.
