I don't know about the relationship aspect but when he had more power 
at KPFK in LA which he does not have now, Arianna was a staple on 
Marc's show. Arianna has gatherings where she invites (special 
invitation only) people to come discuss issues. Marc is one of the 
insiders there. Its the millionairess and the writer pauper (by 
comparison) muse I suspect.
