Of course isn't the real issue WHICH U.N.? After all, the U.N. is just an auspices - everything depends on the arrangements and policies within these auspices. The precedents have a very wide range - from arranging to take one side of the Korean War to arrangements that were fairly hands off such as Cambodia).

Maybe the bumper sticker should focus on principles not auspices.
