Agreed, but it's also true that a great deal of what is purpostedly most
"sophisticated" in social science is disguised falderal.  What have all the
various "quantitive" models ever explained?  Not much.  And then there's C.
Wright Mills' brilliant translation of Talcott Parsons back into English --
as true as it was funny.
