Well, I can't understand people I haven't met very well (except by trying to interpret what they write, or say on the electronic media, as everyone does), but I can tell you I've met loads of lefties who don't listen -- they don't listen to *me,* and I agree with their position! They're born soap-box orators -- talk, talk, talk without stopping -- except that good soap-box orators listen to and respond intelligently to comments from their audience.
