Yes, but that's just an installment in a series of front-page articles on Democratic candidates, whereas the New York Times, early on, did all it could to set up Dean as _the_ anti-war candidate, making sure that the marginal-to-begin-with Kucinich and Sharpton campaigns will stay out of the picture altogether, and ran two big gratuitous features in The New York Times Magazine authenticating Dean's grassroots credential.
Besides, you just posted Gore's endorsement of Dean, officially signaling the DLC's acceptance of Dean. When Dean puts Clark on the ticket, the DLC absorption of the newly politicized nerdy white youth base of DP grassroots will be complete. -- Yoshie
