Yes. Estonian is a Finno-Ungeric language that to my ears sounds truly freakish. Central Tallinn looks like a medieval German town (and is full of loud, obnoxious drunk Finns who take the ferry over to dose up on cheap booze). The first recorded reference to the Eesti (Estonians) is I think in Tacitus, where he uses the word to refer to tribes east of the Germans.

Tallinn really is a nice town.
