Ubu obviously had no "need to know." What was needed from him was simply that he take no action to counter a very well known (even to him) threat. That, I repeat, was the impeachable offense of *nonfeasance*--culpable failure to execute the imperative responsibilities of his office. Why cavil at Kucinich's rhetoric anent the "goddess of peace" (but, it seems, not at the Tienanmen students' "goddess of democracy") when he is subject to far more legitimate criticism for his failure to this date to offer an impeachment resolution in the House.
