Edward Said calls for Saddam Hussein to step down

Off the cuff:

I think this is a genuinely interesting development, but I would REALLY love 
to see serious discussions coming from somewhere of a post-Saddam Iraq that 
DO NOT involve even short-term occupation by US forces and preferably not 
installation of a US designated kinder gentler version of Saddam.

Any ideawhere to look?
