Really can't rely on one report on matters like this, especially in the American media, to jump to conclusions. But to be fair, the NYT report did also note: "The Israeli case is one of many pending in Belgium that involve violations of human rights." You didn't read that to mean that it implied more cases involving Israeli officials surely.
