A giant demo the other day with almost no counter-protesters for one. For two, conversations and eavesdropping. For three, the absence of flags and signs.
During the hostage crisis, you could hardly walk down the block without some asshole singing "Bomb Iran" (to the tune of "Barbara Ann"). I haven't seen anything like that lately.
