Wasn't Bob Dole notorious for this? Why join in Cockburn and WWimP's efforts to defame Lerner and keep the issue alive? Lerner is flaky but so is half the left (more than half?). And so are most Americans according to Schopenhauerians like Wojtek and Carl Remick.

Didn't West call Summers the "Sharon of academia"? I'm not a Lerner expert but there seems to be a
bit of mischaracterization going on here.
