Dear all, This is the opening salvo in our campaign to save the estate tax - the most progressive tax in the country, which moves billions of dollars away from the wealthiest families in this country and spreads it around to the rest of us. At least it has till now. This is the year the wealthy hope to take it back; it'll be a battle royal.
This isn't an elite event. It's a community event intended to put ammunition into the hands of the people who'll use it best.
Can you forward the following announcement (not the preceding pitch) to people and lists who'll be interested?
Thank you - Mike _______________
Do we really need more tax cuts for the wealthy? What happens to a democratic society when too much wealth and power is concentrated in too few hands? What can we do NOW to make a difference?
