One of these days, I'd like to see a kind of socialist alliance get going in the States. From what I've seen, most orgs, groups, tendencies, whatever have at least some good organizers and activists. Time to consolidate the strengths. There are way too many orgs, groups, tendencies, whatever, which dissipates what little contributions socialists can make. In the US, such an alliance, once off the ground, should concentrate on non-electoral politics (unlike what is called Socialist Alliance in the UK and Australia), as there aren't enough socialists to make a difference in elections.
