Inconsistent standards

I would concur in this.  While I realize that everyone has their own
moderation style, I would least expect to see a certain degree
of consistency in moderation standards.  And I would
think that any list moderator would be interested in maintaining
a minimal level of civility.  DP certainly has his rights to
freedom of expression, but he need not necessarily exercise
those rights here on this particular list.  I fail to see the need
for humoring such such an individual, especially since you
have in the past booted off individuals for much less offensive
behavior.
