I just heard Keith Carson give his read on the Pepper book.  Carson is in
charge of the King papers at Stanford.

He did not say that Pepper had absolute proof; he did not have access to
all the information; none of us do.  But he did seem to support the main
contention of the book, that all these wierd things were in place that
were consistent with the Pepper theory.
