First, the police union has a labor dispute so they decide "Hey, lets make everyone sympathise with us by setting up a road block which holds traffic back for an hour while we see if you have your seat belts on!"
And then there is the case where there was a fight between students in a public school....The cops came to handcuff the girl and haul her in....Which of course is a big no-no, because it is district policy that the parents of the student need to be contacted. So the principal told the cop that he couldn't handcuff the girl...So the cop then handcuffed the principal and hauled her out (with no coat on, of course, in 1 degree weather with nasty windchills)
