Sure they do. Kirk Douglas had it written into his contract that he had to have at least one scene with his shirt off in every movie he did. This was not a problem in "Spartacus," but in "Paths of Glory," Kubrick actually had to manufacture such a scene...right at the beginning of the movie. Being Kubrick, he made it work very well.

Dicks aside, I notice that male actors are every bit as narcissistic and body conscious as female actors: if you look, you'll notice that there's LOTS of shirt-off scenes and lots of scenes with clothing that advertize a pretty toned body underneath.
