You know, the rare woman who does feel bad about abortion (and I've heard hundreds of testimonies) it's generally that she wanted to have a child but other things in her life were making that too hard. In those cases abortion's not causing the problem, abortion is ameliorating the problem--though it remains a problem. I think a lot of the guilt is piled on by stuff like your link there. If you trust women to know what's best to do in these circumstances, piling on guilt is worse than worthless. Most women, I should note, feel nothing but relief.
Second-trimester abortions are not infrequently due to the cost, which is a vicious irony because while you're trying to scrape together the $400 for the under 12 week abortion you slip into the second trimester and suddenly you're looking at $1,600 and much more limited availability.

Right up till the moment they get pregnant. We had PICKETERS come get abortions at our local clinic. Turn them over to our cog diss experts. In counseling they said they were different than those 'other women' who just get abortions for 'birth control.' What the fuck else would you use it for, recreation? Trust me, the meds aren't that good.
Kevin Robert Dean quotes:
>Yet, despite the improvements, the number of
>physicians who are willing to perform abortions is at the
>lowest it has ever been in thirty years. "
Apart from the part where you're dodging into the clinic in your flak jacket, what most doctors won't tell you is that doing abortion after abortion is, well, boring.
