Ironically among the classic Zionists the one who probably had probably the best appreciation of the Palestinians and their reasons for opposing the Zionists was the father of Revisionist Zionism,Vladimir Jabotinsky. He freely admitted that the Palestinians opposed the Zionists because they quite correctly saw the Zionist project as a threat to their own national aspirations.
