The UK Times Online reports that the killing of
Hussein's sons might have redrawn the picture.  

 A week ago it seemed that the US might be forced to
plead with others for help in keeping the peace, even
if that meant going the UN route. It is in a stronger
position now, as the job suddenly looks easier.

Professor Juan Cole of Informed Comment says that he
doubts the deaths will actually have much of an impact
on the resistance.  If this is true, and if the Times'
suggestion is also true, then we could see more foot
dragging while the resistance continues apace.  This
during the 3-month window that the Center for
Strategic and International Studies gave us until
utter chaos descends (see previous post)."
