The vast majority of anarchists do not vote or participate in elections. There may be a few younger anarchists who vote next year, but they do so out of fear and failure to totally reject their American social conditioning. When you are young enough to have only known Clinton and Bush as presidents and you hear and see how bad Bush is, it's pretty easy for all the Civics 101 social conditioning to come back and nag you about voting.

Some of us remember Reagan/Bush and how the progressive left was saying how we had to vote for Clinton in 1992, because we needed anybody but more Bush. Well, Clinton certainly disproved that nonsense.

It will really suck big time if American activists get suckered into wasting their time over the next year on pointless electoralism. This will set back our work and destroy momentum much more thoroughly than any amount of government repression could hope to achieve.
