I remember back on this list when everyone was confidently saying Gore was a
shoo-in; now the drumbeat seems to be of Bush's inevitability.

Although why you would misread the poll you linked to is beyond me; even if
you include leaners, Bush only had 50% in the poll.

Here's a recent NPR poll:

57% of voters would vote for Bush and only 35% will vote
democrat.

53% say that the country is on the right path.
