Arguments against the death penalty: --the 100 plus people who on death row who have been found innocent later --the disproportionate number of black and latino men on death row, as compared to crackas --the notion that it doesn't really deter crime, like you admitted yourself --the concept of it being legal for the state to murder while telling its subjects that it is illegal for them to murder, hence making all your other "killing" analogies useless (gangs, etc) --and many more I'm sure I'm not thinking of
