As always things are more complicated. The WSF and USFI, both rejected those resolutions by a former cadre of ITO to discipline Socialist Democracy and it's stinkin' counter-revolutionary, revisionist Comrade Minister...(Meanwhile, new Palestinian Authority PM gonna be a Billionaire? <URL: http://www.guardian.co.uk/israel/Story/0,2763,907689,00.html > )

Lessons of the Brazilian Workers Party <URL: http://www.laborstandard.org/New_Postings/Brazil_by_Johnson.htm > This group has George Saunders who ably translated many texts from Russian for Pathfinder (and a novel by Richard Lourie on Stalin. Tomorrow is the 50th anniversary of Uncle Joe's Death. A grandson according to a BBC report I just heard has applied for US asylum. BTW, a grandson of Trotsky is a Likudnik in Israel. Commentary published an article by him in the 90's.)

"Without knowing that we knew nothing, we went on talking without listening to

each other. Sometimes we flattered and praised each other, understanding that

we would be flattered and praised in return. Other times we abused and shouted

at each other, as if we were in a madhouse." -Tolstoy
