WASHINGTON (Reuters) - In the latest test of Congress'
ability to control online smut, the U.S. Supreme Court on
Wednesday will hear arguments over whether libraries should
be required to filter out pornography on their
Internet-connected computers.
The case pits librarians worried about censorship and local
control against anti-pornography crusaders who say the
nation's schools and libraries should not serve as portals
to violent and sexually explicit material.
