Why has Daschle decided to tilt his hand now and suggest that the timing of the war may not be right?

I note the strongly increasing proportion of those who put the war as their strongest anxiety.

Why has Bush had to address the nation in what comes over on the BBC reports in London as a rather clumsy defiant appeal, just as US hegemonism is on the brink of being defied on the Security Council.

The economy had better not deterioate because the Bush administration could have left itself very isolated internationally. Blair is under intense pressure.
