Does Medvedev have any standing with the Soviet public? I always liked him. Of the dissidents, he was one of the few that didn't cave in to the right. He books, especially Let History Judge, are very fine. jks --- Judging by the interviews and op-eds he publishes occasionally in Russian newspapers, I'd say he's respected. Much more so than Solzhenitsyn.
