Where did you hear this?
Primakov is the architect of the so-called Primakov doctrine, which supprts creating a Russia/China/India block to oppose US unilateralism. He was high, high up in the KGB and is a specialist in the Middle East. He has known Saddam for 30 years. I would be shocked if I heard he was looking for the US. Do you have a link?
