And, six hours later, they seem to have got there: the protesters camped outside RAF Fairford in Gloucestershire reported that the B-52s took off at 10am GMT this morning, which means they'd be expected to arrive about now -- and the BBC reporter in Baghdad on the radio now is reporting that some very loud explosions have just started.
There's going to be a large demonstration outside Fairford tomorrow, as well as a march in London.
