Just woke up and heading out again, first stop Bechtel HQ, though I expect the protesters in the street will have been arrested by then, hopefully to be replaced, as yesterday (when over 1300 were arrested) by more observing on the sidewalk.
Last night one of the reporters on KPFA, our Pacifica Radio station, had an extended line of questioning about tactics like dragging newspaper racks out in the street, which his interviewee, understandably took great umbridge at. Last minute of the report had the same interviewee raging at (a SUV driver?!) that being more concerned at minor property damage (poor newspaper rack, his feelings are hurt) when missiles are raining down on Iraqi civilians was the height of....
As to Max' query, I heard nothing yesterday to substantiate that rumor. Doubt it. And rumors in this atmosphere spread fast.
