It turns out that the guy who sat down next to me and also got arrested when I did is a judge. He called me today and knows a lawyer who may do my case pro bono. I got separated from the others who could get on the bus. Since they had no accessible van to cart me in the cops issued my citation on the street rather than the station. They gave me a *different* date and time and courthouse than the others. Another possiblity is that the NION lawyer representing the other 30+ arrestees can have my case moved to their date. I am also going to contact the NLG here. thanks Marta
