Shock and Awe was never anything other than a new advertising slogan put out for an old product. To argue whether or not "Shock and Awe" is being used in Iraq or whether it is successful or a failure is as silly as to argue whether it's true that "Pepsi Cola hits the Spot / Twelve full ounces that's a lot" (advertising ditty from the 1930s).
