That is because Gramsci lived in Italy, not in Russia, developing the most significant parts of his theory in a later era than Lenin's. Forms of Leninism differ from one era to another, from one nation to another. Gramsci was a revolutionary, no Eurocommunist that the Italian CP later made him out to be. -- Yoshie
