I guess it would be a tipping point for those who supported the war but remain uneasy about the lack of WMDs. I don't know how substantial their numbers are, or even if there are any people who supported the war but now have reservations about it. The hardcore supporters would launch a realpoltik defence, saying the important thing was that we got him out, and didn't spill much US or Iraqi blood in Baghdad, blah blah blah. I expect Christopher Hitchens to grab on this as a opportunity to bash those who opposed the war for not *really* caring about Iraq, while holding out the hope that Saddam, like Kissenger, will one day stand in the dock for his crimes.
