And I have some good friends, long-time Left activists, who felt truly suckered by the Brawley case--mostly by the corrupt cops and racist media, but unpleased by Sharpton's increasingly non-productive demagoguery that helped taint years Poughkeepsie-area progressive organizing.
Too bad, as he says all the right things now, but unlike Bush, he will not be allowed to escape his past.
