In the last paragraph he is still insisting that the real point of the war was to fulfill his fantasies, and everyone who thinks differently is simply missing this essential point.
But he also hints at what makes his fantasy different from the imperialists: he seems to be for chaos. It sounds like he's almost wishing for Kurdish nationalism to tear the region apart. It's as if he's high on the distilled vapors of a faith in the cleansing power of violent revolution.
