Well, I'm probably the one who's biased to be honest.

Radio pickings are quite slim in this neck of the woods and so, during that unhappy period when the car's CD player was on the fritz, I listened to *Marketplace* in the course of my homeward commute to break the monotony of rubber on road and avoid faux R and B and fossilized classic rock formats.

Harmless middlebrow material mostly but sometimes trivial enough (about truly important matters) to put anyone with more than a *Time* magazine level of information in a bad mood.

So I formed my opinion of Mr. Brancaccio from his hosting of that program.

I must admit though that since he's been co-hosting *Now* with Moyers I've been very impressed with his interviewing skills and panache which were definately on-display during his time with you.
