Whole Foods Market will no longer recognize the union that formed at its store last year, the store announced late Wednesday.
The National Labor Relations Board had been scheduled to vote Monday on whether the store's employees would continue to be represented by United Food and Commercial Workers Local 1444.
However, that vote has been canceled, the store said in a written statement. Whole Foods management claims it has enough signatures from employees to allow the company to legally stop recognizing the union without a vote....
