This incoherent shit is just more evidence of how badly Stalinism confused its core subordinate populations, as Daniel Singer says. Blaming Gorbachev for what Yeltsin did is just stupid. Gorbachev was trying improve life while preserving the few socialist elements of the USSR. Yeltsin, representing the IMF and the West, overthrew Gorby. This typical Russian projection of that onto Gorbachev explains much of the schizophrenia and criminality of what's going on there. Hating Gorby for liberalization, but electing nothing but real capitalist liberalizers? The Ruskies are almost as politically ill as we Amis.
