I think you're asking the wrong things from Dean--and, as if any candidate could ever live up to this wish list. And all the extra people who die or get crappier health care or are screwed out of their pensions are just shit out of historical luck, in this view. "Too bad, you had to die (choose food instead of medicine, live in poverty in your old age . . .) for a revolution you never wanted."
